“Vale” Jon Morrison who suddenly passed away on 22 August 2016.
Jon had a passion for (mainly black and white) artistic nude and human form photography and his framed works sell in fine art galleries to clients from all around the globe. Jon was born and raised in the town of Kilmarnock, Scotland, and later travelled the world courtesy of the British Army. Having journeyed halfway around the globe, he met his Tasmanian-born wife Leanne and then called the island of Tasmania, Australia, home.
With the artistic nude and human-form photography, Jon drew inspiration from many sources. The influence of industrial, man-made and historical backdrops is forever evident in his location photoshoots. From ancient ruins and landscapes in Scotland to the hydro-electric power schemes in Tasmania, he was forever scouring the countryside for new locations.
